Rocket car?!

I was reading a dvice blog on igoogle and i found somthing interesting about a rocket car. In britain scientists are building a car that gets powered by a rocket. they call it th rocket car. They had a couple test drives and it was proven to be the worlds fastest car. It will be coming out in 2011 and its supersonic. It has a huge jet engine called the eurojet. It goes about 1050 kilometers in about 40 seconds. The europeans use the same engine to get into space and now you can feel what its like to go that fast on ground. If youve been in a rocket going into space you might think the cars going to be quite uncomfortable. For more information read this article . GPS elephant hunt

In Africa a group of people were starting a game called gps ellephant hunt. In this game you would get a gps and hunt down elephants and who ever got the most elephants would win. For this game you get two hours to get as many elephants as possible and you can work together with someone to combine the elephants you find and you can both win.the elephants they use are elephants they already had and the put gps chips in their ear so you could end up finding them. The elephants would run away lots and they would have to find them with a gps and then they got tired of doing it so they turned it into a game for other people. If i was in africa i would do it because it seems fun and i really want to see an elephant. to be more specific the elephant hunt is in kenya and i think if you travel alot you should go to africa and try it out. here is a picture of an elephant in the elephant hunt.I couldnt find a video about it so im sorry but you have to look for one yourself because i looked really hard and i couldnt find one. Photostories

Making photostories: To make a photostory you need pictures headphones and a mic to talk into. You need all this stuff because it is like a slide show that has music and talking. You can easily make a photostory but it takes time to make a good one. If you want to make a good one it could take weeks. I made a photostory and it took me one and a half weeks and i personally think its pretty good for my first time. You can create music and put it on your photostory. You can make happy music and sad music it is very good for sad stories and happy stories. If you make a photostory all of your pictures have pans and zooms. To make your story have more effect you should take most of them out and if you are going to leave some in there you should make them how you want them to be. I think that our photostory went well and if i went back to change it the only thing i would change is the music because i think i put a little too much music. If you want to please look at my photostory and tell me what you think about it. I liked our photostory a lot and i want to make another one.

Similarities: There is alot of stuff thats the same about the Canadian photostory and the American photostory. Like in both of them they talk about how they like their country and it is a beautiful country. Most of the American photostories talk about what America is like. They say what it is like to be an american and they say that being american is like a pot luck or like a tie die shirt. Each time you meet new friends you add a colour to the shirt and soon you have all colours imaginable. In the Canadian ones they say What canada is like to they say it has lots of nature it has freedom the universal health care is great and much more. They sometimes talk about how their parents met.

Differences:There is also lots of differences. Like the american ones have stuff like where their parents lived and The canadian ones only talk about two things and most of them were freedom and universal health care. The American photostories talk about multiple things like their hobbies their likes and maybe even their dislikes. Monkey bridges!

In Africa they have a rare species of monkeys that gets to be road kill. They don’t want that species to be extinct so they set up rope bridges from one tree to another tree. Most of the time its like monkey see monkey do and they walk across the bridges and other times if a monkey is really confused they walk around the road and end up being road kill.

In my opinion i think this is really good for the monkeys because most of them are really smart and walk across the bridges and they stay alive longer and the species wont be extinct. The rope bridges cost five hundred dollars for one so it is pretty expensive to make a lot of rope bridges. I also think that they should make this in other places too. For example in another town in Africa they have bridges like that for possums and rodents. If you want to learn more about these bridges read this. I couldn’t find a video for you but I’m sorry.

Nintendos new DS

There is a new Nintendo Ds coming out. It is called a dsi and it has many new important features. The screen is now 17% bigger and the whole ds is thinner. There is a 0.3 megapixel camera and Audio enhancements meaning you can watch videos and listen to music while your walking around. The gameboy advance slot is replaced with a SD card slot for downloading music onto it. I think this is alot better than the old one because the normal ds doesnt have a camera or anything so you cant do as much with it. This is the old ds and here is the new one. I like the look For the new dsi too because the camera makes it look cool. If i had to choose one i would choos the new dsi because it has newer stuff and when it comes out i wanna buy it. Wabowden tournament

Hi! I just got back from Wabowden and we had a four game losing streak! It was still fun though. i like volleyball so i was happy playing. I have a friend from wabowden so i hung out with her and it was fun.

Bored at home

Hey im at home right now being really bored because i have nothing to do. The was a dance last night and i thought it was going to be awesome but it was really boring. If theres another dance im going to go and hopefully it wont be boring be cause i like dancing. Today i ahd volleyball practice and it was fun on friday im going to wabowden for a tournement and i hope it will be fun. I have a friend in wabowden so she told me a lot about their teams and she said they are really good and i think we will lose lol. Well anyway i got to go. bye! xD
